Rule of thumb- A tooth's length
Hold the fort down- Keep out the grackles.
Chill out- Curl your claws
Hold your horses- Fold your wings
Whatever floats your boat!- Whichever drift catches your wings!
A taste of your own medicine- A rotting meat-kill
An arm and a leg- Both tooth and claw
Close but no cigar- No flesh in my/your talons
Come hell or high water- Come Maldeum or Council collapse
Piece of cake- Flaryan (Draconian equivalent to summer) breeze
Break a leg- Chipper up!
Let the cat out of the bag- Withheld the drakes
Hit the nail on the head- Leapt with your flying leg
When pigs fly- When Flamea freezes.
The elephant in the room- The Rhaevvenard's quarters.
Just a few idioms commonly used and now translated to Draconian! This is one of a few references I plan to post.
